Aguleri and Anam nearly went into communal conflict after the destruction of a car and property during a burial procession.
This is not the first time such incident is observed during burial ceremonies in Aguleri but has become a culture that needs to be abolished before it plunge the community on crisis with the neighbours.
There is no week pass without experiences of one violence or the other all in the name of burial. Sometimes when they are tired of destroying property, breaking of people's heads, looting of goods and killing of domestic animals. The boys also scatter refuse all over the street.
The parents, youth leaders and community chairmen should as a matter of urgency call their wards to order as a continuation of such act may lead to internal or external war in Aguleri one day.
