Peter Madubuko who was called to the Nigerian Bar in the year 2008, a politician and also popularly known as "opposition leader", is one of the most famous figures in Aguleri, fondly referred to as "Ajilija Umuekete" also name of a famous oracle in his maternal home, Umuekete Igboezunu Aguleri. he utilized his legal training from the famous University of Lagos to carve a niche for himself in the Real Estate, property management and became a house hold name in the Real Estate and property management in Ajar and other choice areas in Lagos Island.
He was born on 12th day of June 1973 into the family of Late Ogbuevi Paul Madubuko and Lolo Matlida Ugoyibo of Umunnoke Ivite Aguleri in Anambra State.
He attended Community Primary School Umuekete Aguleri where he obtained his First School Leaving Certificate before he proceeded to Father Joseph's Memorial High School Aguleri both in Anambra East L.G.A Anambra state. He later proceeded to University of Lagos where ge obtained LL. B in Law and Abuja Law school where he also obtained his BL.
Ajilija is married to Mrs Madubuko Augustina E and they are blessed with quality children.
He will be conferred with a chieftaincy title Chief Ajilija Aguleri by HRM Eze Dr Mike Idigo (Ezeudo Aguleri) on 6th January 2023.
