The residents of Isiokwe Ivite community of Anambra East LGA of Anambra State had yet to come to terms with the tragic death of 3 family members.
A family member, Mr Joseph Obalim said that a domestic turkey died after consuming water from a water tank that was used to prepare meal that killed members of his family.
Mr Obalim made the claim when sympathisers paid him a condolence visit yesterday, Tuesday 25th July 2023.
Reacting to the poisoning of their water source, Obalim dropped a viral voice note stating that sympathisers paid him a condolence visit, and when they opened a water tank in their compound, it was observed that a bottle of chemical was floating inside the tank.
"When they saw a 5 litre container of chemical floating in the tank, the visitors decided to empty the whole water from the tank".
"They collected some of the water with bucket and served the turkey and after drinking it, the bird died at the spot"
It was reported earlier how three members of the family died in Anambra hospital after taken their dinner last Sunday.
