ONE SUSPECT ARRESTED FOR VANDALIZING FACILITIES BELONGING TO JCMSS SCHOOL AGULERI.

One suspect has been arrested in Aguleri for vandalizing facilities belonging to the Justice Chinwuba memorial secondary school Aguleri.
In a statement on Friday, the Chairman of Ivite Aguleri Ruling Council, Dr Fidelis Ndigwe lamented bitterly on how the increasing rate of vandalism had adversely affected the school.
He also commended the support of critical stakeholders and the vigilante group in nipping the ugly trend in the bud, even as he confirmed that the arrest was made by vigilante group.
He attributed the development to the consistent engagement with stakeholders on the need to ensure that all the government Schools in Aguleri were protected from attack by vandals.
According to Ndigwe, over the weekend, a suspected vandal identified as Ikenna Nchekeube from Umunnoke Ivite was arrested in possession of some property belonging to Justice Chinwuba school by the Ivite Aguleri vigilante group of Anambra East Anambra State.
He confirmed that the suspect was handed over to the police for proper investigation and possible prosecution, and further encouraged residents “to be more vigilant in ensuring that the public infrastructures within their environment were safe from vandals, so that public services will not be disrupted".
