Sunday's service at St Michael and All Angels Church, Aguleri was turned to a mourning mass after the news of 8 months old child was kidnapped by a bike man who posed as a good man trying to render lift to the children on their way to Church.
According to a report sent to OMT by the Parish Priest, Rev. Dr. Onovo, "One of our members, a nursing mother, sent her 8 months old baby to church today with the baby's elder siblings. On their way, they met a bike man who gave them lift. Reaching the church, the man gave the children money to go buy biscuits and ran away with the 8 months old baby".
"We have prayed fervently in the church and I have also alerted the necessary security agencies".
I plead all to join us in praying for this baby's safe return to her family.
To come to the house of God to kidnap the baby of a poor woman is unacceptable. It is an affront on God and His Church and can't be allowed to stand. Let God arise and let His enemies be scattered. Amen.
