hief Arinze Nwuvo ( Omeiveuku Aguleri), has been elected to become Festac secretariat’s president for 2023-26, a groundbreaking election that made him the second person to hold that office in the organization’s 8-year history after Chief Nonso Anabike ( Ezeanyichie Nnewi).
Nwuvo was officially elected yesterday, Saturday October 28th around 2:30 pm Nigeria time in Lagos Nigeria as no other candidates challenged him.
Omeiveukwu Aguleri says he sees the Secretariat's’s Action Plan as a catalyst for increasing the club’s impact. He promised to use his wealth of experience to move the club forward.
In 2019 the president elect led the club to a successful Responds which raised critical funds for COVID-19 relief and was viewed by a lot of Lagos residents and Nigerians in diaspora.
Omeiveukwu an Indigene of Aguleri who lived in Europe for so many years has also received several Service awards and the prestigious Ijele Ivite Foundation award for Meritorious Service.
