The Umuezunu village of Enugwu Aguleri in Anambra East local government Area of Anambra State has passed a vote of confidence on the leadership of Chief Mbanefo Christopher Ekemezie (Odu of Idu Eri Kingdom).
In a statement on Sunday, the umbrella body of the village in Aguleri Otu and Aguleri Uno took the decision to encourage the Chairman with a “resounding vote of confidence”.
In a letter made available to to the press,
"Umuezunu Union Otu na Uno, Ndi-Ichie Umuezunu and Oji Ana Umuezunu reinstates commitment towards peace and Unity of the community, shunning any act of violence and illegal imposition or change of leadership at the executive helms by any aggrieved sect. By this notice Umuezunu Union Otu na Uno maintained there has no change of leadership position in its executive members".
