Indeed, since his birth on November 25th 1987 into a relatively humble family of Ogbuevi Chukwuemeka and Mrs Onyedika Nweke in Enugwu Otu Aguleri, Anambra State. The young Melikam has grown to gracefully become an outstanding personality, a great phenomenon and embodiment of achievement within his immediate environment and far beyond.
His story is that of a young man who was born in a rural camp with a lot of educational disadvantages but was not discouraged. Over this period, he garnered many epithets and became an academic colossus who graduated with First class Honours and became the overall Best graduating student of ANSU in 2014. Julius Chukwuemeka also got Distinction in his M.Eng at the prestigious Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka. A PhD student and a COREN registered Engineer with vast experience in project management and monitoring.
Before his present appointment, he served in Anambra State as SA, Works (Project Monitoring) , SSA( Project management and Monitoring) and Deputy DG (Project management and monitoring) under former Governor Obiano.
His conviction that he has a duty to devote his life to serve God and humanity has continued to wax stronger. As he carried out the assignments for Governor Soludo and converted all the street lights in the State from generator powered light to solar power and also restored electricity in so many rural communities across the state. Including provision of water in so many communities in Anambra State.
A lover of Children and old people who has not only contributed immensely to the survival of Children but has also dedicated a substsntial part of his monthly salaries to old people in his community. Julius is a distinguished opinion leader, a respected community leader whose contributions for community welfare continue to expand even as he grows older. A strong adherent to the Christian religion faith, he is also a strong character with unwavering inner convictions to which his resounding successes in many spheres of life could be attributed.
Over two years, this icon has distinguished himself with rare altruism as a Commissioner for Power and water resources, walking, sleeping and thinking about how to impact positively on Anambra communities and people under Governor Soludo.
