ROMAN LANDLORD ASSOCIATION TAKES UP CONSTRUCTION OF ROAD ABANDONED BY GOVT IN AGULERI ANAMBRA COMMUNITY.

By Dr Innocent Chidumebi Okonkwo.

“By the grace of God, if the government does not intervene, we will keep on doing the good work. We will go beyond this place and take the project further"

A group of people, known as “Roman Landlord Association” in Abor Ivite a community in Aguleri Anambra State, has taken up the construction of an access road to their community abandoned by the government.

The access road leading to the area has been in a bad state, causing accidents and untold hardship for the residents.

An OMT correspondent, who spoke with some of the landlords, reports that Roman residential area is in Aguleri.

HRH Igwe (Dr) Nnamdi Emesim, a member of the group, said the project started last month, as an act of love for the society and humanity. He added that a company, known as Roman Hygienic has used waste water to spoil the entire road and damaged people's houses without the owner showing any concern about the suffering of the masses. He therefore called on Aguleri community Assembly to intervene and save other houses around the area.

" The few landlords like Chief Gab Mabia, Francis Nwabunwanne (Eseli Udo),  Eze Ndi Igbo na Guinea and my humble self decided to raise money and start the project".

The association is currently constructing a very solid gutter.

Below videos show the level of the ongoing road construction project at Roman quarters area.
