ANAMBRA APPROVES ABOUT N1BILLION FOR CONSTRUCTION OF GENERAL HOSPITAL AND REACTIVATION OF AGULERI WATER SCHEME.

The Anambra State Government has allocated about N1billion for the construction of a new Health center in Enugwu Otu Aguleri and reactivation of Aguleri Otuocha water scheme.


According to the commissioner for Power and water resources, Engr Julius Chukwuemeka, a contract of over N536m has been awarded for the water project. While over N250M was also approved for construction of Enugwu otu general hospital.


Governor Soludo, disclosed this in a statement released on Wednesday in an exco meeting in at Government house Awka.

He said the project which will enhance healthcare services for the people in the community has provision for various health machines, water treatment facilities, and a solar-powered section, among other essential components.

 

“These investments align with the administration’s commitment to addressing the healthcare needs of the people of Anambra.


“This significant investment in healthcare and infrastructure signifies the commitment of the Anambra State Government to the well-being and development of the state’s residents,” the statement explained.


Commending the Governor, The President General of Aguleri Community Assembly, Barr Rolex Ifeanyi Iloakasia quoted the State Governor, saying these projects are in line with the policy agenda of Governor Soludo’s administration in ensuring the well-being of the state’s residents.
