Great Global Friends Club of Nigeria honors her pioneer President, Ogbuevi Godwin Okeke, Popularly known as Anegbuachala and VP Mr Chinedu Emeka With distinguished Merit AwardS For their Services To the Club,Mankind and humanity in its maiden merit award ceremony held at the prestigious Barracuda Resort Beach, Ajah Lagos .

win Okeke, who ruled the club for eight years, the newly sworn in president of the Club, Mr. Oforma Chukwuma and their Able Patron Chief Emmanuel Ogugua (Okadigbo Aguleri) described the awardees as distinguished Nigerians, who have contributed immensely to the club's development and advancement of society in many facets of life, hence their choice as one of the honoraries of the maiden merit award organized by the club.
He said the awards were presented for their service as executives of the club as a mark of appreciation of their humanitarian efforts, and serve as a bedrock for the development of the club.
Responding shortly after receiving the award, Chief Anegbuachala said the recognition was a call to greater service and pledged to redouble efforts to support programs that would bring growth and development to the club.
He applauded the strategic role played by the club since its inception in 10th September 2016 spanning beyond the fitness of its members to corporate social responsibilities, allowing her members to contribute meaningfully to the greater good of society.
Anegbuachala, an indigene of Mgboko Igboezunu Aguleri formed the social club in 2016 with the help of his pioneer VP Mr Chinedu Emeka and served as pioneer President and VP respectively, for the club between 2016 and 2023 before handing over to the current President, Mr Oforma Chukwuma Egbe Ana Agba Anyanwu.
Other prominent Nigerians who were honored during the ceremony includes Prince Dr Amaechi Michael Omazu, CEO PAMP properties Lekki.
