Aguleri born philanthropist, based in Europe, Chief Gabriel Mabia has mapped out the sum of N30M for payment of school fees for indigent students of Aguleri. According to the philanthropist, the fund is mapped out to help only the indigents who may find it difficult to pay school fees in January 2024.

In a related development, the Ivite Aguleri born philanthropist is also set to distribute not fewer than 1000 bags of rice to widows and people living with disabilities in Aguleri Anambra East Local Government Area of Anambra State tomorrow, Thursday 21st December 2023 by 4Pm.
Chief Mabia has been sharing bags of rice, indomie noodles and other food stuff to indigent Agulerians for the past 4 years. Mabia who spoke to OMT reporters said that the gesture is to share the joy of Christmas and New Year with the less privileges.
He said he was moved to remember the less vulnerable every Christmas and Easter periods, saying that it was a season of giving and showing love and “I love giving back to the society’’.
“The distribution of these bags of rice is borne out of the need to express love to our people, particularly widows and the vulnerable people.
“It is my modest contribution to our immediate environment and a way of giving back to the society. And I do it at least two times in a year "
Mabia said that he planned to do more in future. The distribution will take place in his Abor residence by 4pm tomorrow.
