A young Aguleri girl who was said to had recently secured admission at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University to study Accounting, Miss Chiamaka Ejimofor, has tragically lost her life in the hands of reckless Okada rider.
The sad part of the incident is that she lost her life a few days after gaining widespread attention for publicly celebrating her admission and showing gratitude to God for making her admission into the Accounting department of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Anambra State possible.
A commercial motorcyclist popularly called Okada knocked down the young girl along Umuekete road in Aguleri.
According to eyewitnesses, the young girl was accompanying her friends who came visiting her at home when the reckless Okada man ran into them, leaving her dead while her friends sustained various degrees of injuries.
The young girl, whose age could not be ascertained, was left with broken limbs while the bike man sustained bruises on his arms and legs.
As at the time of writing this report, the victim was already deposited to the Hens mortuary home in Aguleri Junction.
