In his quest to ensure a sustainable development, the Senator Representing Anambra North in the Nigeria 10th Senate, Dr Tony Okechukwu Nwoye has commenced the construction of the proposed Aguleri Innovation Center which major stakeholders agreed would further transform the area after it's completion.
The idea to have the hub was made public by the Aguleri National Youth Association President, Comrade Cornelius Emeka Chinwuba during his interview with the OMT press.
To this end, Hon Chris Cato Ameke, Chief Willy Okafor, Arc Mike Okoye, Comrade Tony Ezindu alongside other chieftains of Aguleri on Thursday, 13th January 2024 laid the foundation for the hub.
The centre, which is located on a land which is at the center of the community and which will also host the ongoing Aguleri Unity Center was acquired for developmental purpose by Aguleri World Forum 6 years ago.

When completed, the centre will house a hall with the capacity to accommodate computers, innovation hub, training centre among others.
The Aguleri National Youth Association President, Emeka Chinwuba explaining the idea behind the initiative, said that the need to advance the community, make the youths innovative and compete favourably with their counterparts globally, propelled the Senator Nwoye's idea.
