Popular Aguleri socialite, Mr Ifeanyi Onuorah known as Ozoh has lost one of his most prized possessions, Accurate Hotels over land dispute.
A high court in Otuocha on Tuesday ordered the permanent forfeiture of the property to the plaintiff, Chief Isaac Okeke who had bought the piece of land earlier from the original owners before the encroachment by the defendant, Ozoh.
With this judgement, Accurate Hotels located at Odene Eziagulu Road, permanently ceases to be the property of Mr Ifeanyi Ozoh as he also failed to get a stay of execution.
The court also awarded the sum of N1.5m to the plaintiff and ordered Mr Ozoh and his agents to steer clear of the property permanently. The execution of the judgement took place yesterday, March 8th 2024 around 9am.
Chief Isaac Okeke had dragged him to court over the ownership of the land in which the court finally ruled that the defendant, Ifeanyi Ozoh acquired the land illegally from land grabbers
Okeke claimed that they had tried several methods to recover the land from the prominent socialite, Ozoh but without avail. The letters of demand forwarded to him were allegedly ignored but proceeded to build hotel in his land. This left them no choice but to recourse to the court of law. The presiding judge has ruled.
