Uk based Philanthropist of Aguleri indigene in Anambra State, Chief Gab Mabia will share bags of rice, to widows and indigents today, 31st March 2024 by 12 pm.
The event will take place in his country home at Aguleri. This has become a routine event having shared the last one in December 2023.
Last year alone, he shared the palliative 5 times to the indigents in Aguleri which he started in 2022.
Last December, he included payment of school fees for hundreds of indigent students in Aguleri.
Chief Mabia said the gesture he engaged for over four years is done to cushion the effects of the current economic situation in the country.
As part of his continued efforts to cushion the effects of hunger in the region and part of Easter celebration, the philanthropist will distribut food items today.
According to him, he was not unaware of the fact that the economic situation of Nigeria has been eating deep into our people’s pocket, thereby making life difficult for some families to feed.
He has continue to reach out to the less privileged in the society not only in the Easter and Christmas periods but in every quarter of the year.
