A man, identified as Mr Ochuno from Ivite Aguleri has strangled his elder brother to death for allegedly seeing him in a bad dream.
The incident happened on Thursday at Isiokwe Ivite Aguleri, in Anambra East Local Government Area of Anambra State.
It was gathered that the deceased, Ikechukwu Okochi an indigene of Isiokwe Ivite Aguleri was one of the beneficiaries of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah's house for Anambra indigents in 2021.
The suspect allegedly confessed to the crime. " I've killed him , I've killed my brother Okochi, I saw him in a bad dream wishing me dead and decided to take an immediate action".
A source close to the family, who spoke to our correspondent this morning, March 15th 2024 said when they saw the suspect shouting, they thought he was joking until a neighbor went inside the deceased Okochi's house and met him shaking on the floor in the pool of his urine and faeces . He said victim finally died in the scene before they got to hospital.
